PRICING FOR PATIENTS
A dental implant is made from two separate components, one abutment and one implant.
The DIR will be funded using the fee paid to Implant Registries Pty Ltd from your treating dentist. Your dentist will be charged $30.00 (+GST) for each implant component entered on the DIR with an annual capping of $120.00 (+GST) for implants and $120.00 (+GST) for abutments, per patient.
For example, if you are having one tooth replaced the total cost will be $60.00 (+GST).
Your treating dentist may ask you to cover the DIR registration fees and add this to your dental implant procedure bill.
For those patients that receive four or more dental implants, the maximum fee is capped at 8 x payments or $240.00 (+GST) over a period of 12 months. This means that any implant components you receive within the 12 months following your surgery would not incur an additional fee.
Your treating dentist may also choose to waiver the fee for you. Your dentist will receive $10- (+ GST) reimbursement of the fee from the Dental Implant Registry to cover administrative costs for entering the data into the Registry.
You will be responsible for the cost of the standard dental procedure in the usual way (health insurance, Medicare and your personal contribution depending on your circumstances).
